Vestas continues to grow, and achieved its highest-ever booking of new orders in 2018, with 14.2 GW added across 43 countries. These bookings helped Vestas to become the first company to install 100 GW of wind turbines in 80 countries on 6 continents around the world, amounting to 20% of the world’s total installed wind generation capacity.
