Your money, your power

We envision a safe, just, and sustainable future in which protecting the environment and human rights is central to corporate decision-making.

As You Sow is the nation’s leading shareholder representative, with a 30+ year track record promoting environmental and social corporate responsibility.

Corporations are now more powerful than most countries. 157 of the top 200 global economic entities are corporations. We work directly with corporate executives to develop sustainable, risk-reducing business models that benefit people, the planet, and profit.

Our program areas include:

Biodiversity – Advocating against deep-sea mining and deforestation by highlighting financial and reputational risks.

Climate and Energy – Urging companies to align with the Paris Agreement, divest from fossil fuels, and disclose climate risks.

Circular Economy – Pushing for reductions in plastic production and single-use packaging while supporting producer responsibility policies.

Environmental Health – Holding food producers accountable for reducing toxic chemicals like pesticides, antibiotics, and PFAS.

Social Justice – Promoting corporate accountability on diversity, equity, and inclusion through transparency.
