Brian Arundel

Development Manager and Grant Writer

Brian manages foundation relations and writes grant proposals and reports across all As You Sow’s program areas with the goal of expanding the organization’s primary revenue source. He joined As You Sow in 2024 to advance social equity and environmental justice after 10 years of fundraising for hunger-relief and fine-arts nonprofits.

Prior to transitioning to the nonprofit sector, Brian worked for more than a decade in the publishing industry as a writer and editor. A native of Washington, DC, Brian currently lives in Black Mountain, NC, with his wife and their animals.
