Operations Manager

Dessie Thomas joined As You Sow in December 2022 as its Operations Manager. Dessie likes to describe her job as a chef at your favorite restaurant and operations is the kitchen. At As You Sow, Dessie focuses on any and all tasks that are conducted in support of the many initiatives and programs. The range of responsibilities goes from IT, facilities, office equipment and supplies to supporting the HR and accounts payable functions of the organization. 

Dessie comes to As You Sow with over 20 years of experience working on various operations teams at nonprofits in the education, child welfare and health industries.
