CHELSEA LINSLEY

Staff Attorney

Chelsea is a Staff Attorney in the Environmental Enforcement Program at As You Sow, where she works to protect the public and the environment through litigation under California’s Toxic Enforcement Act and other legal strategies. Chelsea’s previous experience includes legal advocacy on behalf of human rights and environmental protection under a wide range of state, federal, and international law.

Chelsea holds a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School where she served as a legal intern at the Center for International Environmental Law, a member of the Domestic Violence Law Clinic, and an associate on The George Washington International Law Review. She has studied International Human Rights Law at Oxford University and holds a B.A. in Anthropology and Global Studies from Pacific Lutheran University. Prior to law school, Chelsea lived in Windhoek, Namibia, where she worked at a non-governmental organization focusing on issues related to voter education and enforcement of economic, social, and environmental rights.
