Stephanie Sandmeyer is a communications specialist with expertise in project management, writing, and editing. In her role as a Communications Project Coordinator at As You Sow, she brings 15 years of experience working in higher education administration and communication. Additionally, Stephanie’s professional background includes niche magazine marketing and publication, event planning and production, literary arts journal editing and design/layout, educator resource guide copyediting, and developmental editing and marketing for trade fiction and non-fiction books.

She holds an M.S. in Book Publishing from Portland State University, an M.A. in Writing from Goddard College, and a B.A. in Literature from Marylhurst University.

A resident of the Portland, Oregon area for over 40 years, Stephanie is passionate about the preservation of Oregon’s many natural wonders, and the cultural and environmental history of the Pacific Northwest.
