Phillips 66: Report on Direct Methane Measurement

BE IT RESOLVED: Shareholders request that the Board issue an analysis of the reliability of Phillips 66 Company’s methane emission disclosures. The report should:

Summarize the outcome of efforts to directly measure methane emissions, using recognized frameworks such as OGMP;

Provide investors with insight as to whether there is likely to be a material difference from the Company’s published estimates of methane emissions; and

Assess the degree to which the difference may also alter the Company’s Scope 1 emissions estimates.

The report should be made public, omit proprietary information and be prepared expeditiously at reasonable cost.

The Phillip 66 Company: Request for Report on Indigenous Rights Risk

WHEREAS: The World Economic Forum 2015 Global Risk Report ranked water as the top societal risk facing the world in terms of potential economic impact. (1) The Human Right to Water, formally recognized by the United Nations in 2010, clarifies that it is the responsibility of companies to ensure their operations do not infringe upon the right of individuals to sufficient, safe, acceptable, accessible, and affordable water. This human right is further buttressed by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 6, which includes a target for improving water quality by reducing pollution and minimizing the discharge of hazardous chemicals and materials.
